Our Nordic hub in the heart of Stockholm’s Old Town (Gamla Stan), where our Scandinavian story began in 2005.
From Stockholm we run the Swedish, Danish and Norwegian markets. It’s a smaller, close-knit team that works hand in hand with Haarlem, same culture, same goal: creating the perfect stay.
Founded by Fredrik in 2005, the Nordic business grew the brand across Scandinavia, with Norway and Denmark joining in 2013. Today it’s a core part of who we are.
HotelSpecials started in 2002, when Remco and Nick set out to make short breaks easier and more honest, well before most of travel had moved online. Two decades on we run seven websites across seven countries and work with more than 5,000 hotels, still from our own two offices in Haarlem and Stockholm.
We stayed informal and flat as we grew: short lines, little hierarchy, and a direction we set together with OKRs, so everyone can see what we are working towards. Results-driven, and human about it.
It all runs on three core values that stay in balance. Full of action keeps us moving, Interaction keeps us learning, and Specialists keeps us sharp. They are not a poster on the wall, they are how we make decisions every day.
