It started in 2002, when Nick and Remco founded HotelSpecials with an early bet that travel would move online, long before most of the market did. In 2005, Fredrik brought the brand to Scandinavia from Stockholm; Norway and Denmark followed in 2013, and today he leads the company as CEO. What began as a side project now spans seven European markets, without losing the personal, hands-on spirit it was built on.
We're not chasing bookings. We're a data-driven but personal matchmaker: we know our guests, and we pair them with the right place to stay so they get exactly what they came for, no surprises, no false expectations.
